對經歷急性精神症狀的人，如何提供「以人權為基礎、以復元為導向」的治療？
Soteria House 是一種「以人為本、低限制、低劑量」的急性期住院模式：在小型的家居空間裡，提供穩定陪伴，透過對話和緩、共同決策與社區連結，協助思覺失調者在尊嚴中走向復元。
「Soteria病房」則是把Soteria house的核心概念放置在醫院中，包含：不使用強制治療、病房保持開放、急性期一對一支持；居民在家庭式氛圍中放鬆、減少刺激，並共同烹飪、參與日常生活；個案與家屬共同決策、低劑量（部分個案可先不使用）抗精神病藥，以及出院後持續照護。

Voss 是柏林自由大學/洪堡大學Charité 醫院，精神醫學與心理治療科之資深醫師，他於2013年在St. Hedwig Hospital創立並持續領導 Soteria 病房。

Human Rights–Based, Recovery-Oriented Mental Health Care
For people experiencing acute psychosis, the key is to respect human rights and the person’s capacity for recovery.
Soteria House is an innovative inpatient model originating in the 1970s that prioritizes a person-centered, low-restriction, low-medication approach: within small, home-like settings, empathetic, steady presence and everyday interaction support recovery for people with schizophrenia-spectrum experiences.
The Soteria Ward brings these principles into hospital care—open wards without coercive treatment, one-to-one support during acute phases; residents relax in a home-like atmosphere with reduced stimuli, cook together, and participate in daily-life activities; antipsychotic medication is used at the minimum effective dose (and may initially be deferred for some), with continued support after discharge.
🎤Speaker: Dr. Martin Voss
Dr. Voss is a senior psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin (Free University/Humboldt University). In 2013, he founded and has since led the Soteria Ward at St. Hedwig Hospital, advancing a model of psychiatric care centered on recovery and human rights.
